The myGNV app makes it easier for neighbors to interact with the city.
What can I do with the myGNV app?
You can create a service request, explore things to do in Gainesville, pay bills and more.
What is a service request?
A service request is a request to the city to fix an issue. You can make requests for potholes, flooding, clean-up and more. You can also request a meeting with a city commissioner.
Completion time varies by request. If you create an account you’ll receive updates about your request.
How do I make a service request?
Click the “Requests” button at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t have an account, you can create an account, or create a service request anonymously.
Follow the steps to choose a report type, pick a location, answer details about the request, and add photos or videos of the issue.
Choosing to keep a request confidential will hide the request from the default public map view in the application. However, all requests in myGNV are subject to public records requests.
How do I view requests I’ve already submitted?
You must have a myGNV account to link requests to you. Click the “More” button at the bottom of the screen, click “Service Requests” then “My Requests”.
How do I create an account on myGNV?
Click the account button at the bottom of the app. Click “Don't have an account? Create One” and follow the prompts.
